Reporting to the Dean of the College of Business & Technology (CBT), the Coordinator for Career and Experiential Learning develops new initiatives and administers programs and events that enhance student professional development and expand career services and experiential learning opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience leading career service efforts, preferably in a university setting. Master’s degree preferred.
Knowledge of the job market and employment trends and willingness to stay abreast of current conditions. Exceptional oral and written communication, networking, and presentation skills. Effective organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and successfully coordinate multiple concurrent tasks/programs. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the general public. Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when working with confidential information. Sufficient technical ability to master software required to perform job duties. Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
